Set of 4 · LED trick-or-treat buckets

The one night they're out after dark.

Drag it

Watch the costume disappear.

Trick-or-treating peaks between 6 and 7pm, right as the light goes. A dark costume that looked great on the doorstep stops being visible from a moving car about halfway through the evening.

The bucket doesn't fade. It's the one thing still throwing light at the exact hour it matters, and it's already in your child's hand.

Why this set

Four buckets, one job.

It carries the candy. That part is easy. The rest is about being seen on the one evening of the year that it matters.

Lit from the inside

LEDs sit inside the body of each bucket rather than on a clip that gets knocked off. The whole thing glows, which is what makes it readable from a distance instead of just decorative up close.

Four, because they go out in groups

Siblings, cousins, the neighbours' kids. One lit bucket helps one child. Four means the whole group reads as a group to someone driving past.

Four different faces

Green, orange, blue and purple, each with its own design. Nobody argues over the good one, and you can tell whose is whose at the end of the night.

They fold flat

Collapsible, so they go in a drawer rather than taking a shelf for eleven months. They also work for Easter hunts, party favours or toy storage with the lights off.

Questions.

Including the one about whether this actually does anything.

Does a lit bucket actually keep my child safer?

It helps a driver see them sooner, which is why AAA recommends making costumes and treat buckets visible. It is not a substitute for walking with younger children, sticking to sidewalks and crossing at corners. Most Halloween pedestrian incidents happen mid-block in residential streets.

How bright are they?

Bright enough to read clearly at a distance once the light drops, which is what matters after about 6pm. They are a visibility aid, not a torch — they will not light the path in front of you.

Can the lights be turned off?

Yes. With the LEDs off they work as ordinary buckets for parties, Easter hunts or toy storage.

How much candy do they hold?

Each is 25.5 by 30 cm, which is a full evening's collecting for most children without getting too heavy to carry.

Will they arrive before Halloween?

Orders ship in 1 to 2 business days. If you are ordering close to the end of October, message us first and we will tell you honestly whether it will land in time rather than take the order and hope.

What if we don't like them?

Send them back within 30 days for a refund to your original payment method.

Light them up before the 31st.
